MY ENGLISH LESSON - What I learned today
Adjectives give information about people and things. We usually put adjectives before a noun: a green car.We put adjectives after the verb to be: - I´m tired. We put adjectives after verbs like LOOK, SOUND, FEEL, TASTE, and SMELL: you look happy! This food tastes good. This flower smell wonderful. They have only one form. There is no plural. When we have two or more adjectives before a noun,we must put them in special order. Example:
1) opinion
+ nice/ beautiful/wonderful
2) size
+ tall/ short/ large
3) age
+ new/old/young
4) color
+ red/blue/ yellow
5) nationality
+ French Italian Portuguese
6) material
+ wooden/ plastic/ cotton
finally - we out the noun.
Example:
He has a big big, old, blue,Italian car (2+3+4+5)

Preconceito lingüístico/ língua falada

Analisando os conceitos que estabelecem a dicotomia: língua e fala e os pressupostos lingüísticos que sustentam os esclarecimentos quanto ao mecanismo do fenômeno da comunicação humana, faz-se necessário rever o que se pensa do português brasileiro, despir-se dos preconceitos e voltar um pouco na gramática histórica. A escola, muitas vezes, no zêlo ao seu papel de educadora, tem atribuído o termo erro, a um fato que
na realidade é apenas uma variação lingüística e pior ainda, é não analisar se esse falar está ou não cumprindo com sua finalidade como instrumento de comunicação. Não desmerecendo a norma padrão, ou seja, a norma culta, à qual temos o dever de conhecê-la e usá-la. Mas, o que se deve combater é o preconceito.
